The Styled Vows is more than a styled shoot. It’s a space where photographers and creatives gather to connect, learn, and create. Together, we’ll build confidence, grow our portfolios, and walk away with work that feels inspiring and true to who we are.

 

2. Who can join?
Photographers, videographers, and creatives of all levels are welcome. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, if you’re passionate about storytelling and ready to grow, you’ll fit right in.

 

3. Do I need to be experienced?
Not at all! Many participants join us to learn, experiment, and find their voice behind the lens. You’ll have guidance and tips along the way, and plenty of space to shoot in your own style.

 

4. Can I use the images in my portfolio?
Yes! Everything you capture is yours to use for your portfolio and to share with future clients. The couples and details you’ll photograph are curated to feel real, emotional, and client-ready.

 

5. Is this just a photoshoot?
No — it’s a full experience. It’s about learning new approaches, finding inspiration in breathtaking settings, and creating alongside others who share your passion. You’ll leave with so much more than photos — you’ll leave with community, confidence, and fresh creativity.

 

6. What’s included in my investment?
A full-day experience with multiple styled sessions, real couples, stunning locations, permit to shoot, and creative guidance. You’ll also get headshots taken of you, plus the chance to connect with a supportive group of photographers and creatives.

 

7. Are the models professional?
Our models are real couples. We carefully choose pairs who are camera-comfortable, enthusiastic, and excited to create with us. While some may have modeling experience, what matters most is their genuine connection and chemistry. This gives you the chance to capture natural, heartfelt moments — the kind your future clients will love.

 

8. Can I come for just part of the day and pay partially?
To join The Styled Vows, payment in full is required — your spot, planning, and resources are secured just for you. However, you’re free to choose which sessions you’d like to participate in throughout the day. Even if you step away, your investment still holds your place in the full experience.

 

9. I do both photo and video. Is it okay to do both?
Yes, absolutely! Many of our participants use the day to explore both photography and videography. We encourage you to capture the story in whatever way inspires you most.

 

10. Can I pay in installments?
Yes! We offer installment payments for your convenience. All payments must be completed at least one week before the event (before October 1st). Because spots are limited, timely payments are the only way to make sure your spot is fully secured.

 

11. Can I bring someone with me?
To keep the experience focused and fair, only registered participants can attend. This way, everyone has equal opportunity to create, connect, and learn without distractions.

 

12. What happens if I can’t make it?
Payments are non-refundable, but your spot is transferable. If something comes up, you’re welcome to sell your place to another creative who’s ready to join the experience.

 

13. Are meals, transportation, or accommodation included?
No, these are not included unless otherwise stated. However, we’ll set up a private group chat so participants can arrange carpooling, share accommodations, or make travel plans together.

 

14. How do I secure my spot?
Submit your application form. Once you’re accepted, you’ll receive details about payments and next steps. With only limited spots available, it’s first come, first served — so if you feel that spark, don’t wait too long!

15. What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
In the real world of elopements and adventure photography, the weather is part of the story. This is a rain-or-shine event — and we embrace the beauty that nature gives us. While we can’t guarantee clear skies, we believe these conditions only add to the authenticity of your portfolio.

That said, if there’s a worst-case scenario (such as wildfires, park closures, or emergencies) that prevents us from shooting, your hosts will have a thoughtful backup plan in place as close as possible to the original location.

17. Is this legally permitted?
Yes. We take care of all required permits to ensure this experience is fully compliant with park and location regulations. As hosts, we value respecting the land, following Leave No Trace principles, and making sure everything we do is safe, legal, and sustainable. You can focus on creating without worrying about the logistics — we’ve got it covered.
